About Diabetes UK
As the UK’s leading diabetes charity, we support people living with diabetes, work to prevent type 2 diabetes, make research discoveries, and find a cure.
About our Exeter Children’s Snack Pack Group
Our children's and families groups bring children living with type 1 diabetes and their families together so they can feel supported, share their experiences and worries, spend time together, make friends and know they’re not on their own.
Our Exeter Snack Pack group is led by a volunteer committee with a Chair, Treasurer, Secretary, and committee members. They offer support, both practical and emotional, to newly diagnosed families and those who have lived with diabetes for many years. The group hold a bank account, and process donations and payments.
They are looking for new volunteers who can help support the group’s lead volunteers with the planning and running of activities, parents coffee mornings and social events.
